I apologize as I'm sure this is not a *new* topic, but here goes anyway
Male 51 T2 for a while, on metformin
I understand that I need to tell my insurance company (done)
I do not need to tell DVLA as I'm not on insulin
I do a lot of driving, often at antisocial hours.
Is there an official document detailing safe / not safe blood sugar levels for driving (i.e. if below x should not drive)
How can (and when should ) I check
How can I do this without support from my gp/pct ? - you *know* where this is going, right ?
Is there anything I can share with my employer which will help me manage my driving - (best practice / recommendations) particularly with respect of taking breaks, overnight stops etc.
any documets recognising on the impact of stress on blood sugar
muchos thankos
