Hi my name is sally, my son jacob is 12 and type 1. He has had diabetes since he was 5. He controls his diabetes with novorapid and lantus. He is fantastic and manages it all by himself, apart from the odd carb counting query. We live near Bath and im wanting to set up a Drop - in for parents/ carers anyone who has or looks after children/ young adults with diabetes!!. I feel isolated and would love to meet others like myself to chat with, discuss things x If anyone lives nearby and is interested please let me know. Great to be on here xx :wink:
I recommend you drop a line in the Diabetes Youth Club as that's where parents look first.
