Hi,

God, I have so many questions about various aspects of diabetes but I'm trying to ration them out!

This is a rather more practical question: my Flexpen fell off the side where I keep it, probably about four feet, onto a hard floor. The lid was still on. There are now some more tiny air bubbles in it (there were a few before it fell). There is no obvious leakage or damage, so is it still okay to use? The PI sheet suggests not, but I wondered whether that's just the manufacturer covering themselves.

Many thanks,

Jo

Change the pen if you are unsure if it's damaged or not. The air bubbles can be dispersed by holding the pen upright and taping the cartridge holder until the bubbles rise to the top, when they do just dial up a few units and do an air-shot which should get rid of them, as I said if you are unsure just change the pen.
