Evening all,

Before being diagnosed I had terrible dry mouth/thirst for quite a few months.

I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Could anyone advise how long it normally takes for that to resolve itself once blood sugars are back down to a reasonable level please? I want to start doing much more walking and maybe even my local Parkrun but it's a little difficult when my mouth is as dry as the desert!

For me it went as soon as my numbers were lower, occasionally coming back when hitting high numbers again. Hope it'll settle for you soon as well!

Personally, my dry mouth went within days of glucose control.:)
