Early morning hypos

Last 4 days in a row I have had a hypo at about 5.30am, but frustrating as I have to get up at 6.30 so cant really get back to sleep! They leave me feeling quite sick for most of the morning - should I be reducing my long acting that I take before bed or my short acting for evening meal? Perhaps a snack before bed? I could experiment with all of these i guess!!

What is your blood reading before bed? Is there a big drop?
There is definately a pattern there so maybe your best to test during the night to see whats going on.
Has anything else changed lately or have you been more active on these days?
 
It's your basal insulin that you need to reduce, any QA insulin will be long gone by 5.30 in the morning.
