For the past 4 days I have been in sone considerable discomfort. I have had a rather odd sensation from a most sensitive and quite embarrassing region of my body. There is no other way to dress this up so I will not attempt to. It is my erm.............well..........you know?............back passage. Using mirrors angled at some rather jaunty angles and the 'selfie' facility on the camera on my mobile phone I was finally able to get a look at things and decided that this required a qualified medical examination. This morning I made an emergency appointment to see my doctor and rather luckily I was able to trot along there 90 minutes after ringing in. I explained my quite unusual predicament and my doctor asked me to debag abd bend over which I duly did. After a couple of minutes she addressed me and told me that she could detect the merest hint of a lettuce leaf nestling in between my buttocks. I burst out laughing more out of an outburst of release of nervous energy rather than humour. My doctor misread my reaction completely and told me that I should not be so blasé about the matter as it could be really quite serious. In fact it might just be the tip of the iceberg.
