This looks like a book worth reading. Free online, full text...

http://www.ourcivilisation.com/fat/foreword.htm

Here is the foreword by Sir Heneage Ogilvie, KBE, DM, M CH, FRCS - Consultant Surgeon, Guy's Hospital; Editor of 'The Practitioner'; Late: Vice-President of the Royal College of Surgeons...

Thanks, Pianoman.

I believe this is the book that Judith Durham of The Seekers (1960s/70s Australian pop group) used when she lost a lost of weight. Oh, that ages me!

Robert Atkins briefly discusses Kekwick and Pawan's work too (Robert C Atkins Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution London 2003 (paperback), pp 65-67, 271).

Yup Russ 1958 -- a great year... I was born in 1958

In 1958 a book could include lines like... ...Where do it all go so wrong?
