Dear all,
Since last three and half years I have been working on eating frequency and weightloss...
In one of my studies of follow up of 428 persons it was observed that the average weightloss after six months was 6.8Kg and waist circumference decreased by 3.5cm!!
The diet plan suggested was: fix the meal timings, eat only twice in the day, no restriction on foods , nothing to be consumed in between these two meals, if hungry one can take buttermilk, tea without sugar or coconut water

This diet plan also showed other beneficial effect...i.e. reduction of fasting insulin levels of these persons. As you know fasting insulin is a proxy indicator of insulin resistance and dibetes.

Thanks!

This is the 16:8 way of eating, where you eat within an 8 hour window each day. I have heard that this is very beneficial for people who want to improve insulin sensitivity but have not tried it yet, I do 5:2 where you restrict calories
to 500 two days a week. I may give this a try as my fasting levels have not moved lately.
