I'm in the first days of trying to stick to a carb budget. I'm just about managing at home, and my blood glucose is better than it's been in a couple of years and I don't want to mess up.
The trickiest bit will probably be while in a large meeting with a number of clients and colleagues. They will probably serve sandwiches and nibbles, all high carb and a disaster for me. Feels rude to bring my own food, feels irresponsible to go off piste just when I'm starting to see things get under control.
