True that. But no fiber and mostly fat once you add butter/ghee ornother fatsUm, eggs do have carbs. I've got no idea how they get in there, but 1 egg has about 1.1g of carbs (0.7g in egg white + 0.4g in the yolk. So there will be carbs of some source on an egg fast, the source will be the eggs.

I know eggs have carbs. And I know veggies make my tummy gurgle so this theory interests me.
You aren't supposed to do it forever.. it can help with breaking though a weight loss stall or bring blood sugars down quite fast if required.i really dont like that idea.we should be eating a balanced healthy diet. depending on one type of food is going to cause problems if its maintained, saying that hard boiled eggs chopped up with dabs of butter, very very yummy. but as a full diet nope.
Wasn’t the eggs...mystery still unsolved. Things are a bit better but still need improvement.@Kristin251 I think you started a thread about being constipated after eating one egg so maybe an egg diet is not for you?
I was reading about it on a keto forum and it had lovely pics of eggs all different ways. Made me drool.@Kristin251 May I ask why you are considering this? What might you gain from it? You have wonderfully low levels and don't need to lose weight.

Also I guess with eggs 6 are easy to count - with chicken who knows how much people are going to eat.
I used it for some of my LCHF 800 calories a day trial a few months ago..then added bacon. Found it quite easy but I also had my coffee and cream at the same time and only did it for a week.. Maybe try again in the New Year.

So for a week you just had eggs, butter, bacon, cream? Sounds similar as you’re allowed one oz cheese for each egg, so that would be your bacon, then the creamer could count as cheese or some of the butter.
What was the major thing that was different from your standard diet? Just lower cal? No carbs at all, other than the egg and cream?
I wonder if having a meal say of one ounce chicken thighs with mayo or butter would work? One ounce would be 6 proteins and thighs have fat. Then slather with a tablespoon of fat.
I think I would find it easy as well. Never met an egg I didn’t like.
