Eggs are okay!


That black pudding from Ireland does look good @Jaylee

In the summer we stayed in B&B that used a black pudding bought from Stornoway, it was one of the best I'd tasted in a long time.

Same as Faggots (Mods please read page at the link if you do not know what they are), best ones I have eaten were from a pork butchers in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire years ago. Same as his black pudding.

He sold free range eggs as well just to stay on topic.
 
My local dairy (and ice cream store) in this small town half-way around the world has seen this thread and told me eggs were on sale $1.00 for a dozen today. I bought some and plan to make a spinach and tomato crustless quiche tomorrow.

Fun fact: in the Milan Underground you can transport a live chicken if you pay a full price ticket, and having chickens on the garden or on the balcony is allowed. It's not a strange event to hear chicken noises in downtown Milan.

I buy them at the supermarket or sometimes at the mill or from a local farmer.
