In light of political speeches being the order of the day here in the uk and ahead of any results being made known to anyone (including candidates) can I just say thank you to anyone who did vote for me and to anyone who didn’t I completely understand. The field I competed against was formidable and should I not get elected I will in no way be disappointed with the end result, every single one worthy of a mod title. Should I have succeeded then I consider myself very honoured to be considered worthy amongst such high quality candidates. Just wanted to put that gratefulness (is that even a word?) out there!

'Gratitude'.

Thought I'd say that now just in case you become a mod ;)

Fully agree and well said!

Yes, well done to all the people who stood. You are all great candidates and would be great moderators. I would have voted for all of you if I could.

Agree! Which means we'll be happy with the results, no matter who wins!
Much better than regular politics :)
