Elevated readings with a cold

Hello,

I have a stinking cold, the usual - sore throat - then runny nose, coughing your guts up and then back round to runny nose - repeat. What i have noticed is my readings have gone from a normally steady 6.9-7.4 up to been in the 10's. Is this normal with a cold? also feel knackered - could sleep for a week ( if i could get away with it that is ;-) )

Any infection will raise your blood sugars @Steve Brodie.

Look after yourself and make sure you keep your fluid intake up.

Im also full of cold,I dont often get colds.
My readings have also gone up,fasting was 9 ,its never above 6
Hope you soon feel better.
