My husband has type 2 diabetis and works as night manager, at a hotel. He works nights and works on his own. Can his employers stop him working? as he works without anyone else around..CAN ANYONE ADVISE PLEASE...thanks

He should be fine. What meds if any is he on?

Metaformin, gliclazide and januvia

Ah ok, so what's his diet like? Does he eat carbs etc.Glic can cause hypos'. How are his levels? He may well not be safe alone all night then.

He's managing ok.but wandering if it's against the law to be working without anyone else around.

Does his company know he's diabetic, mind you they wont really know as much as him. I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will be along to advise.
