Hi all. I don't post often in here but I do enjoy browsing the forum and reading the advice and opinions on offer. Thing is, I've just got in from a weekend away and have found a letter from my Doctor saying that they have "been instructed by the PCT that we must rigidly enforce the recommendation that patients receiving NHS prescriptions for Sildenafil should receive a maximum of four tablets per month. I have therefore amended your repeat prescription so that in future you will only receive a prescription of 4 tablets per 28 days" Aside from the fact that I don't (and never have) take Sildenafil, is this directive being enforced elsewhere? I do suffer from ED and the Doctor (unfortunately no longer with the practice) who initially diagnosed my type II diabetes and started my treatment also gave me Cialis for the ED. I take 5mg per day, every day, as it works in a different way to Sildenafil which is taken "as required" so to speak. Using 4 tablets of Cialis per month would be as effective as burning crows feathers and casting animal entrails. Guess I'll be having a word tomorrow when I go to the health centre for my retinopathy screening - my repeats are due to be ordered then...
