No problem pet, don't get yourself down too much about not being able to get testing right. You're not the first person who's struggled with it and you won't be the last. If you're not getting enough blood for a test when you prick your finger, it might be worth changing the depth setting on your finger pricker. If your device doesn't allow you to do this, you should be able to pick one up that can
I was exactly the same. You need to putt down and do something else for a while. I always tense before the prick. I have a code free too.Thanks. Well I'm pathetic. I plucked up courage to do fingers and palm but although I pricked, I got hardly any blood so now I'm crying like a baby because I can't do it. I hate myself for being so ridiculous :-(
Sorry for being so stupid

Sling them. I am bad and use mine more than once but you're not supposed to!I'm gonna try and keep it all contained in the kitchen!
I'm wondering what to do with old lances as I'm not officially diabetic, I don't have a sharps box. What do you all do with yours?

I don't know what you are supposed to do, but I will reuse my lancets until I feel that they are no longer sharp enough! (I know that a lot of people do the same). That may be for months, I admit. Too much bother to change them for every prick.Sling them. I am bad and use mine more than once but you're not supposed to!
