The other evening, i watched the movie "First do no harm" on TV. It's about the experiences of a family with a son suffering from paediatric epilepsy who they faught to have treated on a ketogenic diet, when the doctors wanted to perform brain surgery. I actually already knew about this, but hadn't thought about it for an age. These people, have used the diet for a long time. It's been known about 80 years at Johns Hopkins university. I've written to ask them if they know about any deficiency symptoms it can produce, but Ialso noticed the web site has recipes. These would of course be applicable to diabetes control, because they are extremely low in carbs
