Error Message on every test

Hey Folks

Still new to all this but I have been given a Nexus GlucoRx by my the Nurse, I have done 4 tests over the last two days and the only result I get is the error message E-U.

I have checked the book and all it says is to do another test with a new strip.

Has anyone else had this before?
Am I doing something wrong?
Is it a batch of bad strips?
Could it be the test machine itself?

Are you giving the meter enough time to calibrate? I don't have that particular meter, but the 5-6 meters I do have all take between 2-8 seconds to startup before they say "apply blood"

If you're applying blood too fat before that, it will usually cause an error message

The E-U message indicates a used est strip. As long as you aren't applying blood before the ready symbol shows then the meter may have a problem and you should get back in touch with the nurse who should have plenty of the meters as most surgeries seem to be issuing them as a matter of course.

make sure, to put the blood on when it tells you not straight away it can take 5-10 seconds :]
