Think I've got that quote a bit wrong but never mind ...

Today my FBG was 8.0 - not perfect but better than 10.8 a couple of weeks ago. All day my BG has not strayed over 9.0 and that was after breakfast when it seems to be higher in the morning.

I'm quite chuffed :-)

Now to see the FBG begin to decrease!

When diagnosed T2 my fasting blood glucose level was 13.1. Five weeks later it had dropped to 9.8. Gradually it dropped further to 8, 7 and is now after 4 months it is around 6.2. I did this by firstly dropping all the food with lots of sugar in it (breakfast cereals, orange juice) and then reducing foods with a lot of carbohydrates (bread, potatoes, rice, pasta etc).

This has also allowed me to reduce a lot of weight (7Kg). If you change your diet then good things will happen and quite quickly too.
