I need help, friends. Until now, my exercise has mainly consisted of walking for distance. However, I have upped my exercise game to include strength and bodyweight training. I enjoy how I am feeling, but my blood sugar has risen overall since I started these exercises (past few weeks). And, after exercise, I feel like I am having a hypo, even thought it is in normal range.
Has anyone else had experience with this? My FBS was 141 this morning!
Granted, it comes down during the day, but it is higher after exercise than before. Now, I understand that it has to do with how my body uses the glucose and how it is transporting it to my muscles, but I am looking for advice about how people manage exercise and what they eat. Should I eat beforehand? If so, what are some examples of what you eat?
