Hi All,
I am finding my exercise regime becoming more difficult due to what may be Proximal Neuropathy.
I have all the classic symptoms, numbness, electric shock twanging, pins and needles all to my left thigh, hips and buttocks.
Sleeping is difficult due to finding a suitable position without pain, however I am never woken up due to the pain.
I can only last 5 mins on my static bike and 10 mins walking before the pain starts to hit.
I find it so frustrating because I am following the advice, reducing BG, exercise, better diet only to find something else to deal with.(At least my eyesight is getting better)
Is it worth continuing with the exercises and `working through` the pain or will I be causing more damage to the nerves.
I have an appointment with my Dr Thursday, (maybe it could be a trapped nerve.)
Allan
