So I went to a walking football class today - much more energetic than it sounds! And my first strenuous exercise in years - have been doing lots of walking, but not so intensively as this.

It seems to have had an adverse effect on my blood sugar levels:

Waking 7.6 (high end of normal for me)
Pre breakfast 8.0 (nothing new there)
Post breakfast/pre exercise 8.0 (surprise, breakfast usually brings it down, but had done a lot of walking getting to the venue)
Post exercise 8.7

Is this normal?

Will it come down now that I'm safely back on my sofa?

Thanks

Yes But keep on excercising maybe you have very Big reserves in your liver Count you carbs a day and also your protein if you get too much protein the liver will store and transform and deliver if provoked

Thanks @Freema

I've been doing a lot of walking, but this was much more strenuous. It will be regular, once a week on top of my walking. I lost a stone over the past 3 months, so feeling more capable of more exercise now.
