Exercise isnt working

I take magnesium citrate, with my evening meal, today I have had 2 boiled eggs and tea, I’m feeling good but will check glucose when I get home since left my meter home argh.. but even without the sleep Im having a pretty decent day. I hope fall asleep when I get home but obviously I will get something into my system and take my magnesium and then hope for the best. // I may go gym if I feel I got energy but will wait and see.

Yes, I have the book but unfortunately haven’t read it but listened to a audio copy. / I will eat my evening meal around 4pm should I set it back later so I can eat and probably might help me sleep? I used to eat around 6pm but I will see what I can do when I get home but I have been fasting since 5am so it will be a 11 hour Farst I hope my blood readings are good when I test when I get home.

Is there any possibility you could have been mis-diagnosed with type 2 when you actually have one of the autoimmune forms of diabetes? I was diagnosed with LADA about 2 years ago and was told my insulin levels would diminish over time and although I’m on tablets right now, I will end up on insulin at some point (maybe around 4 years). Just wondering as it sounds like you are doing a good amount of exercise and eating the right things.

I’ve heard a lot of people get mis-diagnosed with type 2 but luckily I have a doctor who’s husband is type 1 so she’s very knowledgeable and interested. Did your Doctor check GAD levels when they did your blood test? I can’t remember what GAD stands for but I think it identifies a type of antibody which is responsible for attacking the cells in your pancreas which produce insulin and this shows whether or not you have an autoimmune type of diabetes. Worth asking your doctor maybe?

My endocrinologist has told me i am 100% type 2; i had C-peptide to confirm this, & GAD, my diabetes wasn't bad 3-4 years ago i was sleeping good and maintaining good hba1c, only in the last 2 years i haven't been able to sleep or my blood sugars haven't been within range and my hba1c has been beyond normal last 1 was 80. I am happy with the endocrinologist view that based on his experience and the results i am type 2. I will do my best to try and get my hba1c back down and blood sugars in control and my sleep too.
