Well I started eventually, my promised new start day went by the way ...again, as did the week, but for some unknown reason a week past Sunday I shocked the dog by mentioning the 'walk' word and a 40 minute brisk walk was had, did that for the whole week, did I enjoy it? tbh no, even less when the anticipated weight loss never over the week never materialised. Still ongoing and finding it less of a grind
What did surprise me was the impact it had on blood sugar levels and I can see where skinnymaria11 is coming from with her list of treats, I reckon I dropped approx 2 points in BGT results after a 40 min brisk walk.
I'll scratch the Zumba right away  ..hope your knee is well on the mend.
Still to find that motivation/fun factor but I'm more positive in my approach as I can feel the benefit it is having on the body, bought a few home gym pieces so we'll up the ante.
Hooked up a Tv signal to a bedroom so as I can watch telly and exercise, we'll see how that compares to listening to music on the ipod.
I mentioned earlier I was disappointed in the weight loss after a week of exercise, my expectations were high due to the change from being sedentary to active, however I did lose weight just nothing like I had hoped for ....but not letting myself get hung up on one set of figures, overall my weight has dropped every week with a current combined loss of
-20.5lbs, weigh-in due tomorrow. 'One person at a time please", Grrr hate them talking scales
