I’ve tried the mung bean fettuccini and the edamame spaghetti, they are both good. I prefer butternut squash spaghetti but these are a really good store cupboard standby. I don’t fancy the black one!
They are dried so as I just said to Goonergal they are a good store cupboard stand by. I use them to make a low carb spag bog or carbonara, anything that would have used traditional spaghetti I guess.
I tried the Explore edamame & mung bean fettuccine, but was disappointed. It’s not remotely like wheat pasta, other than the appearance. Quite chewy, but bland so it needs a good sauce.
I only tried it once and the remainder is still in the cupboard. I much prefer homemade courgetti.
The fettuccine version is 11.3g carbs including 6.3g sugar, 24.4g fibre, 42.3g protein and 6g fat (all per 100g) i.e. very high protein.
It’s gluten free if you have coeliac disease.
One box weighs 200g, so it does work out expensive, even with the offer.
