I have been diagnosed as type 2 diabetic in November 2009. For the last 3 weeks I am now on metformin 500mg twice a day taken at breakfast and evening meal and simvastatin 40mg once a day taken last thing at night. Every time I have my evening meal (smaller portions) within half to one hour I fall asleep for about one hour. Tonight I had chicken fillets with noodles and onions and peppers and was out for the count for over an hour .When I wake up i feel cold, shaky, dizzy, confused and still extreemly tired. I have even cut back on alcohol - none for over 2 weeks.Can anyone suggest what I can do to help? Thanks in advance...FIN22
