Hi, I probably cannot help you myself but I don't think it's clear from your post exactly what advice it is that your are seeking?

I hope it has helped, I find it scary every time and it's been 18 months now, never had a bad one yet though! xThank you so much for your reassurance.
My D consultant and the ophthalmologist both blame the drop in hba1c for my DMO (101 to 33) and even though I've had great control I still developed proliferative retinopathy in both eyes 2 years into my diagnosis, makes me feel pretty down if I'm honest xxWow you poor thing! I'd been type 1 for 26 years when I started mine, gutted though as my eyes were the one thing I was terried of deteriorating, bad days and goid days. The injections have definitely delayed my retinopathy and oedema damage though. On this forum there's so much uplifting advice and real experiences it gives me a lot of hope x
