Eye problems..

I recently had my eyes tested for glasses, up until now I always bought cheap and cheerful ones. They gave me a letter to see an eye specialist at the Hospital, but did the same with Hubby who is not Diabetic. As far as I know it is just a precaution but have been reading about laser treatment.
My question is has anyone been through this and was there any problems caused by the treatment.

Did you ask the optician why he was sending you to an eye specialist?

She said it could be early stage glaucoma
