Hi, im new to all this i got diagonised end of july this year with type 2 and a couple of weeks ago i had my eye test at the hospital and got the results today saying i have some background retinopathy, i started to freak out and went on all these websites. I just want to know what other people know about this and if it really can be reversed? I read somewhere that if your sugars are high and then you control this it xan damage your eyes? When i got diagnosed with type 2 i was in hospital with a skin condition and then my sugars went as high as 21 one day and now they are between 5 and 7.5 most days. I was also in hosp with a really bad infection which i got told would make my sugars high, could this be why i have background? Im still a little freaked as im only 25 and have had other health problems, any help or advice would be great!
