eyes!!

Yer rocking an A1c of 36 since you last of 41, 12 months prior.

When did you last see an optician?
But those levels only dropped from 41 to 36 from end of January when I started lower carb, higher fat. There is no other plausible conclusion unless other factors get the credit for the drop. Given my timeline over the last year.

How long have you been getting blurry vision , it sounds exactly like mine was , it varied and eventually went and now everything is so clear crystal clear .
Fantastic. Do you know why it varied, by chance?

I have a theory that my higher blood sugar levels go back a lot further than 2014. There are certain symptoms that I have noticed that I previously put down to old age. Eye sight deterioration is one of them.

My blood sugar levels with HbA1c did not suddenly zoom up to 49 in Dec of 2014. They may well have been as high or almost as high for a while but gone undetected. So methinks that my eyesight deterioration may be tied to that.

Your post gives me some hope that my eyesight will improve at least a bit, over the coming months.

Thanks.

I have a whole box full of reading glasses which I picked up for a few pounds - I got really powerful ones at first, now I don't need them except when I wasn't to magnify up some fine work beyond what normal eyesight copes with - I still need glasses for distance, but not reading glasses.

The eyes have it.

My vision is much clearer today. It does vary on a daily basis.
