hi everyone
i have just recently been diagnosed type 2 insulin. I have other medical conditions mostly respiratory. After many tears of steroid use I am now beginning to suffer from the effects they can cause.

I am trying so hard to keep blood sugars at levels as asked but the thing that is getting me really stressed and upset is my vision. I find this quite scary and wonder just how long it takes to "come back" I ws informed to buy pair of specs over the counter but alas no good at all.

All in all i have sore fingers (lol) very blurred vision, and very distressed about the whole thing and getting lost in the process of checking bloods and feeling very dismayed when they rise too high. How do you then get them down again.../???

Does evryone feel like this when first diagnosed ( 6 weeks now) :(

Hi and welcome to the forum Fred :)

High bg can make the lens of the eyes swell which in turn leads to blurred vision, once your diabetes is stabilised you should see an improvement, if not then get your eyes checked.
