Facial redness

Hi! I'm new to this kind of 'chat'. so please bear with me. Can anyone let me know why I should be having facial redness - with underlying spots, like acne, after increasing Gliclacide medication? With Dr's permission I have gone back to original one a day, instead of the increased two twice daily - but my Piaglitzione has been increased to two daily. The redness began August 2009 and got worse, and though gliclacide has been reduced there is no sign of the redness disappearing. My face is very embarrassing to me. Has anyone else suffered this symptom? I have been Type 2 since Jan 1997.

Gliclizide does have the side effect of causing skin reactions. If it is severe then you may have to discuss with your doctor if this is the cause or if there is anything else in your medical history which could be causing this.

You may need a change of medication.

I have roseacea so I know how embarassing it is.
I can't help with the medical side but I am the queen of hiding cheeks that are more than a tad rosey, let me know if you want the details of things that can help hide it.
I would speak to your Dr as well. Mine gave me some cream that made the redness a bit better and then I hide the rest with make up.

Either yellow or green face powder will hide redness.
