Fake drugs?

Hi to everyone!
My question relates to my Glimepiride tablets: recently my pharmacy has changed supplier and are now using
a company based in a remote region of Delhi in India.
The company is called Somex Pharma and their website is not very convincing. Does anyone have any knowledge
of the authentacy of this company?

I just feel that the tablets are not working as well as the previous ones - but it could of course be a change in my body.
I do physical exercise every day and walk a lot.
With this question in mind about fake drugs; can anyone advise me about the best way of getting these drugs tested?

In the uk every drug is tested and trialled before use so i would not worry about it

If the drugs are prescribed by a UK chemist then they are fully tested, if they are bought on the internet or from some bloke down the pub then yes they could be dodgey.

Next time you get your prescription, go to a different pharmacy. You'll probably get a different brand, then you will be able to tell if it is you or the brand of tablets.;

I quite often get meds with different packaging from different suppliers but ingredients are the same.
