Insulin
Taking steroids caused me to become insulin dependent rather than just tablets. Since no longer taking steroids my blood glucose levels have dropped considerably. Should I be reducing the amount of insulin I inject (4 times a day).

Yes. As a type 2 you are going to be better off taking the very minimum insulin required to keep your levels under control. If you are prepared to try an LCHF diet, then you might find that you can reduce it to a very small basal dose, and possibly even get off of it completely.

You should reduce the amount of insulin you are taking if it is causing you hypos.

I'd have a chat with your doctor or DSN as they will be able to advise you on what to do.

Hi @jaguarlady ,

(Though I noticed you joined us a while back,) welcome!

What sort of figures are you testing at?
Do you log bloods, food, (carbs.) & dosage in a diary?

All this info helps a doc or DSN to help you regarding managment..
