I have just done (10:10am) a BS test and got a 4.7mmol which is very good and all that.
Now I know from what I have read on this forum and other books and internet that a level of 4.7mmol is not an hypo at all.
But I feel really odd, light headed, no energy and my brain will just not get into gear this morning.
Now I was up at 7.45am, had a single peice of toast this morning at around 8:15am (Nimble brown 8grams of carb) and 1pint of hot water. ( I never test in a morning anymore, only test after meals)
I had a cup of tea and feel a little better.
My question is how can we deal with these so called fasle hypos, they they go away with time etc?
Yes - although it took me a couple of months before I got past the dull headaches. In the end I just took it as a signal that I was doing something right.
I had a 4.9 reading once and went all hypo like, i mentioned it to my specialist and she my body reacted to the levels because i am always around 15 and 4.9 was to low for me it was to much of a drop to quickly. She said if i felt like that again to treat it like a hypo but as i said, i WAS always high.
