I am currently away from home (in a hotel) in the middle of Liverpool and just been out to a restaurant for dinner. I was dreading finding somewhere to eat that wouldnt want to fill me with carb rubbish. Well I found the great Brazilian place where my blood sugar came out at 4.3 2 hours after going in with a level of 4.1. It was such a low carb meal.
The restaurant works by having a salad bar (I had lettuce, carrots and about an ounce of rice) and then they bring round the meat. The meat is all on a stake and there are a dozen different types/cuts etc and they just keep coming all evening until you are about to explode (Meaning of Life - "would sir like one more pea").
I am sure it has set my diet back a few pounds so good job the hotel room doesn't have scales
Not the cheapest restaurant but LCHF friendly.
