Ermmmm, I'm not too sure what you're thinking is here. Are you hoping you will burn off glucose faster? I suggest that going for a walk regularly will do you more good than taking extra pills.
Ok, carbohydrates have calorific value, but carbs and cals are different.
If you reduce your carbohydrate intake it can help to reduce the amount of glucose in your blood. Reducing carbohydrates will also reduce your calorie intake.
But you could eat cheese, which has a lot of calories but no carbohydrates.
There was a test done on a TV programme quite a while back with numerous people and quite indepth which actually showed that slimmer people had a slower metabolism than obese people...
Unless you have these scientific tests done to show what your metabolism rate is then you are going to be throwing your money away.
