Can anyone shed any light on these results which are these are averages for the last 7 days and seem to be the reverse of what I thought should be the case? I am not on a diet but eat sensibly - lots of fruit and vegetables and low sugar items.

It is possible for these reading. It basically mean the carbs that you ate have been converted to glucose and has been used. I had a slightly higher reading of 8.2 this morning, had two Weetabix and two hours later my reading was still the same.

Hope this helps.

I had always fasting BS higher than any time of the day . May be dawn phenomenon (?) , eating late night carbs, snacks etc could be the reason

Am a T2 on medication only. I eat usually chapati bread, chicken curry, some fruits and nuts with tea. My last intake usually extends up to 11PM and can not go to bed earlier than 12-1230
