Fasting bg question

Hi everyone. I have recently been diagnosed pre diabetis with a GTT of 10.9. Am wondering if .1 makes any difference?
Since my diagnosis I few weeks ago I bought a meter and all has been going well with the LCHF diet and am glad to say have lost 12lb already. I test my bg every morning, quite often two hours after meals and at the end of the day. Last night it was 4.9 which was rather lower than normal, this was a few hours after last meal and this morning it was 6.2. Am wondering how this could be as I had no more food. Although for the first time in weeks I did have spaghetti Bol ( whole meal) for at 6.00pm.

Would be pleased to have your opinion.
Thanks.
