I think this is true for just about everybody, diabetic or not, your body thinks it's in peril and very helpfully releases a variety of stress hormones, cortisol, adrenaline and so on...as well as a dose of stored glucose! For those without diabetes the body brings it down quite quickly but for those of us with diabetes of any type it can take longer. It doesn't concern me as I feel strongly that the exercise itself is doing far more good for us than simply helping us manage our diabetes. x</p></blockquote><p></p>
