Most important is the difference between the reading before you eat and two hours after. This tells you the effect of your food.
Fasting level is usually the last to come down.

It really depends on what you want the information for.
For me results from testing immediately pre meal and two hours afterwards are the figures I'll take most notice of, as to a certain extent they are under my control and indicate how well I'm managing both my diet and consequently my glucose levels.
Fasting levels generally tend to be at the mercy/discretion of my ever helpful liver.
