A alnur Newbie Messages 1 Type of diabetes Type 2 May 14, 2016 #1 Just diagnosed. Smoker. Did a fasting test was 6.8. Then had a smoke did another test, showed 5.9. Could not believe this. Had some blood on the finger so did another test and it was 7.2. All in a matter of 5mins. Please help

All meters have an error margin and will seldom turn out three identical readings.
