Hey my loves okay recap before I ask my question I was diagnosed in may type 2 my hbc1 was 74 and after diet had another test in August and it had dropped to 35 .
I couldn't beleave it as I have also lost three stone now . Anyway this past fortnight I have unwell in myself I have been back and forth to hospital with things like flashing lights in the corner of my eyes , yesterday they did an eye scan and said it looks fine but on Monday they took my eye pressure and said it was borderline but still in normal limits but then yesterday it was taken again and it was 20 and again they said borderline but normal limits .
Please may I ask because as Diabetics we do have eye exams ! Have any of you any advice on this for reasurrence , Lazybones is supporting me and giving so much of his time and advice but I just wondered if anyone else had experience of this . No one seemed worried about the eye pressure and they don't want to see me for six months ???
Anyway today on there advice I went to GP for blood pressure check and whilst I was there she asked how I was feeling and I said fine apart from being a little thirsty over the past few weeks and waking in a hot sweat when I told the nurse she thought this could be hormones as my BG level was so low at last test.
Okay dr says BG and wants fasting test .?
Diabetic nurse assured me she didn't think it was my BG as I had come right down and that I take my bloods twice a Danone on fsting and then later at some stage none are high ,!!
RIght here is the biggie some of you will know I have been through the mill for a few years well a few weeks ago I was told that I have in fact had a breakdown . I am going to fight this beast that it is and start therapy soon.
My husband has arranged to take us away and it was supposed to be a celebration of how well I had done with my numbers and also the fact my Drs said my MRI was fine and so ws my eye scan so I was going to try and go and ignore the flashes ( they say people get them ) . NOW I am worried about the pressure .
My husband says I am forgetting they said see you in six months .
I get alot back and frontt of head pressure and I am now thinking its eye pressure .
If it was sinus surely it would have showed on the MRI and they would have told me .
Wel we are due to go away in the morning so hoping someone gets to see this .
I have seen so many Drs now and I know whilst my diabetes story hopefully is still a success my Anxiety wel and truly as hold .
