Fatty deposits at injection site

Hi, my partner mainly injects in his stomach and has noticed fatty lumps in the area he injects. If he stops injecting in this area does anyone know if these fatty deposits will disappear? He seems quite concerned about the appearance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They may do and its worth avoiding the area for some time to see if it does improve, tbh I still have a lump from injecting in the stomach in the early 80's and it hasn't gone away, but that not to say your partners will not.
