Not best pleased is an understatement, Decided to do some basal checks this evening so last bolus given was at 12.15pm with a duration of 6 hours
@6.55pm I still had insulin on board.
Looking back on other forums this issue was first highlighted back in 2013, so why haven't they fixed it?

Is this on every vibe? I must admit I haven't timed mine to see whether it's accurate to the 4 hours but I do bolus based on my current IOB.

I've no idea MPB, I did a small correction this morning and the correction was gone and finished within 5 hours. So something is def not right with this pump. I have a hospital apt tomorrow so will be popping into the clinic to suggest they check all the pumps out.

I will also check this evening to see how it's calculating IOB after the IOB has supposed to have finished will be interesting to see if it ignores it or uses what is left on the display. Either way not good.

I have noticed on the vibe that when I bolus and then immediately look at IOB the dose is never what I've just bolused but always less (2.8u if I bolus 3u). It's like it automatically removes a portion of the dose. My old 2020 never did this and I don't get why the vibe does. No insulin works straight away!

My Animas Vibe was showing 0.50 Insulin on board for up to 12 hours, it went faulty after the first occlusion I had ever experienced. When the occlusion occurred I was giving a bolus and the pump only delivered 0.50 units and I had to give the rest by injection. Animas America told me that this was a known fault and to just allow for it. I didn't accept this as my pump usually showed just slightly less than the bolus given on the Insulin on Board screen and boluses were gone
after four hours. After being fobbed off twice I spoke to a nurse at Animas Animas and she couldn't explain what had happened and arranged for a new pump to be sent to me 'Just to be safe' It is a bit worrying that Animas know that this can happen and are not investigating to find out why.

I shall yellow card the pump as in effect the pump is not delivering/calculating insulin dosages correctly.
