Out of everything I miss bread the most which really surprises me. I've tried every shop bought low carb suggestion and they all spike me apart from livlife!

Hooray

BUT it gives me acid indigestion and makes me feel bloated.

Boo

FED UP!!!

That's a shame, and I understand how you feel. I can manage one slice but no more, and if I eat it with a meal as opposed to on it's own (single sandwich/toast) with plenty of butter on it, I don't spike too much, so I'm happy with that. I have at least one slice a day and tend to eat it with a fry up or a salad with plenty of fats (cheese, mayo, eggs etc). The fats really do help keep the spikes lower although a bit more prolonged.

You may well have a gluten intolerance Sam, Livlife bread still contains wheat which might explain the indigestion and bloating feeling

Yes please @daniT1D

Been wondering about the wheat intolerance thing. I've really suffered with acid indigestion and bloating in past and doc said go low fat. No change. Since doing LCHF it's all but disappeared- which is why the breads impact is so noticeable.

How would it know for sure?

I've been Coeliac for 2 years now and I will try this I think, as the other GF 'bread' doesn't taste nice and it's tiny in size but with lots of carbs . Many thanks RRB
