Is anybody fed up with the whole diabetics injections and blood sugars right now. I feel like it takes over my everyday life.
 
Yes have had 2 bloody awful days, sugars running high and I just can't see why. Have upped ratios and will see how we go. Disheartened but hey ho keep on living and trying to see the funny side.
 
Yep. Never ending peeeee off regularly. As well as injections in belly arms legs bum fingers,and two in the eyes this week. It's a case of get back on the bike and keep pedaling, the time to worry , is when you can't ride a bike and can't see where your going. Lol
 
Yes I know exactly how you feel.. always feels better after a good night's sleep though
 
I feel like that a lot when on holiday or when I am very busy or physically tired and looking for relief, but I also find that it definitely gets better with time: it becomes more of a routine. Like brushing your teeth, shaving or doing the washing, which is no fun either, if you stop to consider.

It is everyday life. That's how it is, better to embrace it, but that can take time, I've done almost 3 decades of it. Same as brushing our teeth, having a shower, cooking dinner, washing up, getting kids ready and taking them to nursery. Daily routine.

Diabetes is our life, it doesn't bother me to much, like an itch you have to scratch every couple of hours, but this itch is there for life.

Yes yes yes! Had it for nearly 60 years, doesn't get any easier, sadly
 
When things run smoothly I'm ok, but when things are changing and I've to do a lot more testing and figuring out insulin increases/decreases, that's when I get fed up - especially if the changes don't work right away!
 
I've had it for 50 years and it does get easier, IMO. But you have to beat it by knowledge and good habits. Eventually you master its management (and learn to accept the odd off-day, even normies have off-days, you know).
Useful as this site is for learning, sometimes I need to take a break from it because simply talking about diabetes, being here simply because I'm diabetic is the very thing that makes it feel like a full-time job to me.
The rest of the time, diabetes is my 'normal.' I don't fret about it at all.
