If you mean stuff like gluten-free bread, or other items where the flour has been replaced with a gluten-free version then if anything it tends to have slightly more carbs than the normal versions - obviously gluten-free isn't the same as wheat free but most gluten-free stuff is wheat-free (I think there is/was gluten-free stuff with wheat with the gluten removed from the wheat but I must admit I only check for gluten-free.).

Also does being very stressed ,being on 11 other meds be a reason why my blood sugar is high . I don't know what type i am as still waiting to find out ?

Stress may raise your blood glucose levels and some medications (steroids in particular) are also known to cause significant BG problems for many diabetic patients.
