Dear All,

Sorry I am going to have a complain.

I am well fed up with being Diabetic; I am done with it totally. Why the hell did it pick me.???????????

I know my numbers are not that bad, but I just don’t feel right anymore, doctors/nurses are hope-less, all I get from them is take your pills (the words [*******] always spring to mind).

Why do I want to metformin, so that I can speed up the process of burning my pancreas out, no thanks..

I don’t have blood pressure, so why do I need tablets for it???????????

Why can’t you run the HBa1C and Col tests every3 months instead of once a year, what’s the point?????

I am sick to death of my numbers being between 5 and 6% in a morning, I NEED them in the 4’s % range.

Before I go to sleep at night I am always around 6 to 7%.

Last HBa1C was 6.3% - Doctor say that’s good, which I know its ****, it should be in the 5% range, if not the 4% range.

I feel as thou everything I eat is just causing my body damage.

May be I need to low carb some more, but the strangest thing is, I know when my numbers are slightly high-ish, and it really gets me down…

I do feel that my life is really screwed up at the mo, it’s as thou I am waiting for the Grim Reaper to come and get me.

Sorry needed to unload.!

Hope you are all well.

Take care,

simply_h - can you not ask to have the hb1ac test done three times a year? Especially if you explain that you are low carbing and are trying to reduce your current hb1ac? I dont test very frequently at home, but my GP agreed to let me have the hb1ac 3 times a year.
Dont worry about the metformin, its not going to rev up your pancreas, it doesnt work like that, you were probably thinking of gliclazide?
Can you try to reduce carbs any further, or have you tried cinnamon or bitter melon to reduce bg levels or increase activity/exercise?
Dont give up, you have done well so far, there are many who would give their eye teeth to have your hb1ac. You just need to find ways of reducing it a little more, and I am sure that you can do it.

All the best x
