Fed up

[Very lost 101212]

Hi All, apologies for the rant...my son's latest hba1c was 6.9 he is 11 years old. Very happy with that. Now the but ...15 months into this condition and I am feeling fed up, angry, and keep wondering why? I go through the motions of everyday life, try to be positive...but all I think is Diabetes sucks! Will I ever get to grips with this? Ever? Will my heart stop hurting each time I see his damaged fingers? why can't I cope?

It's hard to see your child suffer but he is probably coping with it better then you so just being there for him and supporting him is wonderful and try to get some support for yourself, also there are lots of great people on the forum who are probably in the same position as you and can offer support and it's a great place to just come and chat or vent. Thinking of you! x
